Broken Masks

Due to a curse, if you lost your most beloved being, your inner shadow will take control over you, and while it gives you nightmares powers. A mysterious man with a broken mask enters a castle.

The theme was "It is NOT real"

How the game gets the "It is NOT real" theme? : "If you fear something, it becomes real. If you're brave enough, it will not". The enemies have a Level of Fear, which makes that only the nightmares that are powerful enough will scare them and turn them into a real thing that makes them damage, but if they do not fear enough, they won't receive damage because they won't take it as real.
